I'm sure most of you have noticed the Google Ads on the top of my blog. The way they design it supposedly the ads look at the content of your page and it creates ads that the most people will click on based on the contents of your page. I.E. for the light bulb blog, there were links to buying light bulbs. It's kinda entertaining to see what pops up out there. Speaking of popping up, in my last blog, one of the ads was for a licensed sex therapist. Insert jokes here.
This past weekend I got to go see the Brewers play the Cubs at Miller Park. I went up to the ticket window to buy tickets, and lo and behold it was Mr. Boardman, our beloved calculus teacher and the star of a previous blog. Not sure if he remembered us, or was glad to see us (if you recall he was the Ben Stein like demeanor teacher), but he did say he gets former students pretty regularly.
I think I'm bit quirky, but Rachel is head and shoulders above me. She started a blog within a blog, i.e. within the comments of Dave's blog. I honestly can say I would've never come up with that.
The Cleveland Indians will be playing "home" games in Milwaukee because they're stadium got snowed out for a whole week. Looks like our $100 million roof is paying out. But this is interesting because the movie "Major League" was filmed in Milwaukee, and it was about the Cleveland Indians. Bob Uecker, the Brewers radio announcer, was also in the movie with his famous line of "juuuuuuuuuuuust a bit outside." I think they should play "Wild Thing" for the Cleveland closer just for poetic justice. Some quotes:
"I'm concerned that these games will draw more than the Brewers 3 games"
"All that we need is a drunk Bob Uecker."
"Joe Boo needs refill." - Pedro Cerrano (aka late president David Palmer)
