Volleyball, training, and calculus teachers

So I really should be getting to sleep, since I do need to be at work by 7:30 AM the whole 6 weeks of this training class. But, after leaving my team at 6 PM (I was the first to leave), playing 3 hours of volleyball, then spending another hour doing training homework, I need some time, to quote my HS Calculus teacher Mr. Boardman, "pause and reflect." An aside: Mr. Boardman was one of those really dry, quiet, put you to sleep voiced teachers (very much like a Ben Stein in Ferris Bueller's Day Off style) but he would slip little subtle one liners in often enough that you paid attention in tha class. He was also one of the most beloved teachers. Anyways, Mr. Boardman would solve a calculus problem and then say "let's pause and reflect." In normal context it's not really funny, but when talking about it in a calculus context it is!

So our volleyball team played in the playoffs tonight... we played 3 games starting at 7 PM and ended at about 10 PM with us losing in the final set of the championship game 11-9. It was loads of fun and very tiring. We called in a woman ringer, and Justin our team captain was excited because when we needed another woman sub she had called on one of her teammates... which was Sheila. Not that anything was wrong, but it would've been awkward. She couldn't make it so we got Sheila's best friend instead.

The training is actually pretty fun if it weren't for having to work the extra hours. We're supposed to put in equipment for a new dish soap product in, of all places, Sheboygan Wisconsin. We even got to see a virtual reality version of the plant. Another team member of mine named Craig also hailed from Wisconsin. As we were viewing the VR plant (had the 3-D glasses and everything), this quote occured:

Some jokester: So, is this a pretty accurate depiction of Wisconsin?
Craig: No, there needs to be deer running around

All righty, time to get some rest so I can be there bright and early at 7:30 AM!
