Cookies!
So one Milwaukee secret is Midwest Airlines... They have a nice flight out of Dayton, Ohio to Milwaukee (they have a hub in Milwaukee) so I can head home for the holidays for a decent price. What's the big secret? Well they serve fresh baked chocolate chip cookies right on board. You gotta love it when they give you two cookies with the chocolate chips still gooey. I usually take a nap on the flights, but I manage to stay awake on Midwest flights!

never heard of fresh cookies on board. i'd fly just for that!
I haven't heard of that. I used to like that airline, too.
Affordable, great legroom, every seat on the plane is like business class. Great concept!
Then I took a flight between Milwaukee and Dayton on that airline. It took over 1.5 hours to fly that distance (the opposite direction, on a different airline, took approx. one hour). The tiny plane sat 19 people, including the pilot and copilot. Every seat was both an aisle and a window seat. The flight crew got on the PA and announced: please stay buckled for the duration of this flight. There is no reason for you to get up. We have no restroom. There are no flight attendants so there will not be any in flight beverages.
I was surprised, needless to say, that an hour and a half flight wouldn't even have a restroom. Sounds like they've come a long way from not even giving beverages or having restrooms on board to (re)warm(ed) chocolate chip cookies!
I want a cookie now! :)
I'd fly with them for the cookies alone.
Martha, at least they were nice enough to restrict your fluids while not offering a restroom...it could have been worse....red bull all around!!
Man, I miss those fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! Friendly flight attendants too.
Yes, those cookies are delicious. Other companies could learn something from them to try and differentiate themselves.
