So as I'm experiencing all the new features of this car, I realized a lot of stuff:
- I've never had a sunroof before. It was weird because I would catch some light in my peripheral vision above me and it would freak me out for a second. I also forgot to close it a couple of times, luckily I did before it started raining.
- I've never had foglights before. So what am I supposed to do with them? I guess use them when it's foggy? Any other time?
- There are a lot of channels on XM radio. I hope I don't get into an accident because I'm trying to figure out where the baseball games are (thanks to Dave for telling me they're in the 170's)
- I find myself having to be careful not to speed too much, because before I know it I'm going 50 MPH. Since this is a 6 speed, I also hafta re-calibrate when I change gears
- A coworker mentioned it has a really nice sound to it... and I notice now too. It sounds powerful without being really loud and obnoxious. Almost like someone with a deep voice fit for radio.
- The garage door opener feature is acting up a bit. I set it by holding my remote control to it and pushing the set button. The button in the car now works, but the remote control doesn't and inexplicably the hard wired button doesn't work either.
- Thanks to Tom for convincing me not to go cheap and get the color I want. I really do like the Royal Blue Pearl! It doesn't show up too well in the picture but it's awesome in person. And thanks to Tom for the image of girls laying on the hood of my car. :) Karen are you volunteering?

I don't think I can ever go back to not having a sunroof. Once you get used to it they are so nice and a welcome to even more sunlight shining on you while you drive.
But the fog light - yes, they really do help in fog. However, the most beneficial use: if one of your headlights goes out, you can turn on your foglights and you can see better and others can see you better (and you won't get a ticket for the headlight being out).
I like new cars. They're so fun to play with all the features, and I like new car smell, and they're so shiny and pretty.

I appreciate the comment about upgrading color. Jim has no preference in color- he'd pretty much take what they gave him i think. I on the other hand, know what i like, and want what i want.
And yes, when i get my new bikini i'll come lay on your car. Do i need to bring a Carl's hamburger like Paris Hilton?

Commenting a little late - congrats on the new car. My VW, almost 2 years old now, was my first car with a sunroof, and I love it, too. I can't wait until it's warm enough to use it again!
Very dark blue is also a great color for a car...that's what mine is. :-)
Oh, and I want to hear about this vacuuming robot!
