Wanted to give a couple of kudoses out:
Kudos #1: Jim "The Shedmaster" for coming over (and bringing his Makita drill) and helping me straighten out the door of my shed with some well placed boards. I'm not the most handy person in the world... well, maybe because I've never been interested in it.
Kudos #2: Tom for showing up at my concert on Saturday despite his wife being sick on Sweetest Day. His coming solo actually allowed him to befriend a older couple, so that he could sit inside the church instead of in the overflow area outside of the main hall.

off the topic: how did your first concert go? What was the Secret of Suzanne?!?
Great concert Dale, I enjoyed it, but you need to know that the fanatics are 60+. That's your key demographic. It is a big deal to those folks to go out and see the orchestra, and they really do appreciate it. I think I saw some tears of joy....
Another one of my missions in life may be to figure out how to get people of my generation into the symphony... I thought maybe make the venue so it's a "loud" hall (rock concert like) let people cheer between movements... do some stuff that's a little more marching band like, make it fun!
