Congratulations to frequent blog contributor and longtime friend Winston on getting engaged on Tuesday! I was lucky enough to be someone he bounced ideas off of, and for the first time got to see a little bit of what happens behind the scenes of a proposal. I even was chatting with him up to the point where he went dark to go pick her up.
Interestingly, the only way I knew that she said yes was that I saw it on his Facebook profile. The best part was a quote from college friend Chris. Check it out:

We made a pact back when we started our football league 15 years ago that people would be kicked out when they got married.
What?! I never heard that. Looks like I'll be engaged for a while then.
