Say that again?

Ken Broo, local sports reporter, talks about how college football should have a playoff:

"Take the top 24 schools and have them play a playoff! It's only 2-3 games!"

Hey Ken, ever wonder why tournaments are always either 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 teams? Maybe it's a Cincinnati thing(see Math, Chad Johnson style from a previous blog entry).

By the way, welcome to Erin! Look for a profile of you soon!

How embarrasing! There's a reason why so many of us had to go to parochial schools in Cincy....couldn't get decent education in their public system. (does anyone remember colerein football coach, ~8 yrs ago, on playing St. X...he had 4 words for why they would win: "we are Colerein")

Well, even though he doesn't understand math, I still have to agree with him. They should have March Madness for football. It would have to be called January Jambalaya or something and be able to have 16 teams play or maybe 12 with wild cards. A lot more exciting than 1 bowl game.

Wish granted!
(sorta...just elimiate 60% of the fans in attendance and throw it on ESPN 2)
Please note the 16 team football tourney "December Decimation" ends next week as UMass plays for the 1-AA Championship.

I love the fact that they throw more A's after something instead of calling it Division II.
